HHR whale research

WhaleSongs Noosa is very excited t be working with and associated with Humpbacks and High-rises. The largest humpback whale research organization in SE Queensland based at Griffith University on the Gold Coast.

HHR has been running Queensland’s most extensive marine mammal monitoring program dedicated to protecting and researching marine mammals since 2011.

Humpbacks and High-rises mission is to ensure that present and future generations of the community can enjoy, appreciate and care for whales and dolphins through research, rescue and education.

The HHR research program helps to monitor the health, movement and well-being of humpback whales on the east coast of Australia. Their annual systematic surveys reveal exciting and new facts, which you can read more about on their website https://www.hhr.org.au

WhaleSongs Noosa is dedicated to having at least one HHR researcher on board every trip sharing information and data with you which will be collaborated and sent to Griffith. How exciting to be a part of this whale research program.
